Library obtain reference materials through commercial platforms covering journal publishers, standards organizations, and professional bodies.
UniMAP Library obtains reading materials that are not in the collection from the following sources:
Material Coverage Through Interlibrary Loan:
UniMAP Library subscribe or obtain relevant reading or reference materials for study and research programs offered by the University. However, there are still publications that are not covered by the UniMAP Library. These reading and reference materials can be obtained through the following services:
1. All UniMAP residents are eligible to use the Inter Library Loan Service at the library.
2. Each application must use the Inter Library Loan form provided.
3. Always use one form for every application.
4. Each form submitted must be completed with the applicant's and item information, along with initial and date the form was submitted.
5. The materials requested are to be use for research, teaching and learning, and academic assessment only. Any work of distribution and reproduction of the requested material is prohibited.
6. Supply period of materials requested is depends on the feedback from the lending library or organization, to the availability of the materials.
7. Applicant must ensure the physical condition of the material applied (printed material) is in good condition during the loan and returned period.
8. Submit application via email to rujukan@unimap.edu.my or to any nearby library branch.
