Course Synopsis

Knowledge and skills required in this course is an understanding of the basic construction technology and the way a building or material failure. The purpose of this course is to learn the principles of structural failure, the nature of the material structure of a building, and how the material is damaged the effects of various environmental factors, especially those related to water. In addition, students will be taught a variety of inspections carried out by building surveyors. Students will be exposed to the preparation of schedules of dilapidation and acted as an expert witness.

Printed Books are located at both Main Library and Branch Library in Kangar. This is due to nature of this subjects, we were fairly needed by students and researchers in other subject areas.
