Course Synopsis

The course is designed to introduce the properties of biological materials and to encourage students to be able to identify physical properties of materials required for analysis and design of agricultural, food and biological systems. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to determine (measure, search, calculate, estimate) the value of a particular engineering property based on available data or experimentally measure the
property based on existing methods and theories.
