Course Synopsis

The aim of this course is to enable students to understand fundamental principles of engineering acoustics. Several acoustics criterias, meaurements and noise control guidances required for design and construction of those features related to noise also to be introduced in the course. After completing this course, students should be able to fundamentally understand the acoustics which are important for noise control practice as well as the basic concepts of acoustic measurements and the use and application of acoustic signal analysis for particular application in noise control.
