Course Synopsis

This course introduces the operating principles of different types of pumps, compressors and conventional prime movers used in power generation. Their analyses and design characteristic considerations are also considered. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to select proper fluid machines for specific applicaions and solve related fluid machinery problems
